Set content management roles

Describes how to set content management roles in Optimizely Configured Commerce.

To add/edit or review/approve content in the Admin Console or content management system (CMS), Configured Commerce users must be assigned the appropriate roles:

  • ISC_ContentEditor – Add and edit content
  • ISC_ContentApprover – Preview, approve, and publish content
  • ISC_ContentAdmin – Add, edit, preview, approve, and publish content. Additionally, this role can create and edit page templates.

📘

Note

Although it is not a requirement, it is recommended that users with the ISC_ContentApprover also have the ISC_ContentEditor role in order to make minor edits to content prior to approving the revision.
