Require a product to have a quote

By default, all available products are allowed to be submitted to a Sales Representative for a Sales Quote. Certain products can also be designated to require a Sales Quote. To set a Product to require a quote, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Admin Console > Catalog> Products.
2. Locate the Product you wish to require a quote by filtering or by scrolling through the list.
3. Click the Edit.
4. Scroll down to the Pricing section of the Details finger tab and click the Quote Required toggle so it displays Yes.
5. Click the Save.

Note

If a Sales Representative provides a price quote on a product, any available promotions are disallowed. Additionally, any promotions applied to an order prior to submitting a quote request will be removed.
