Manage assets
Manage assets in Optimizely CMS 13, including media files, shared blocks, and catalog entries. Use the Assets panel to organize, edit, and drag-and-drop content.
Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) and Commerce Connect share the Assets panel. Use it to organize, manage, and reuse content from one central location. Assets include media files (images, documents, and videos), shared blocks, and Commerce Connect catalog products. Drag and drop items such as images, blocks, or products onto a page.
Edit images or blocks and create folders directly from the Assets panel. The context menu provides options based on the selected asset type. The following topics describe how to work with assets:

NoteBy default, the Assets panel contains Shared Blocks and Media, with Catalog entries added for Commerce Connect. The panel is a plug-in area, so additional asset types display depending on your implementation.
