Manage assets
Manage assets in Optimizely CMS 13, including media files, shared blocks, and catalog entries. Use the Assets panel to organize, edit, and drag-and-drop content.
Assets can be content of the type media files images, documents, shared blocks, or products from the catalogs in Optimizely Commerce Connect. Assets are available from the Assets panel in both Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) and Optimizely Commerce Connect, making it easy to drag and drop items, such as images, blocks, or products, into a page.
You can work directly with content from the assets panel, such as editing images or blocks or creating folders to organize content items. The context menu will provide different options depending on the type of assets selected. How to work with content items in the assets panel is described in the following topics:

NoteBy default, the assets panel contains Shared Blocks and Media with the addition of Catalog entries for Optimizely Commerce Connect. Since the assets panel is a plug-in area, there might be other asset types available in your view.
