Warehouses and inventories

A warehouse is the physical place with an address from which product items can be shipped. Optimizely Commerce Connect lets you add and track a list of inventory locations within the system. Specify the item's warehouse and inventory information when creating a product variant (SKU).

Commerce Connect supports multiple inventory locations (previously labeled warehouses). The warehouse label is kept consistent with the past. The current definition is that a warehouse is any place that contains an inventory that you can track, whether it is a warehouse used for shipping, individual stores, a factory, or whatever you need to monitor available items. Trucks delivering orders can also be included.
