Login options

You can select Opti ID or Microsoft's Entra ID to authenticate users in your system. Consider the following factors to select the login option that best aligns with your organization's security needs and user experience.

The entity responsible for user account management (IT department or system administrator) may influence the preferred login option. Consult with your system administrator for specific recommendations based on your organization's infrastructure and security protocols.

• Opti ID – Offered by Optimizely, Opti ID is a login solution to access Optimizely products such as Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) and Optimizely Digital Experience Platform (DXP). You can have a single sign-on experience for Optimizely products. Additionally, Opti ID lets you manage user groups for custom access control in the Optimizely suite. Select Opti ID for the following reasons:
  • Best for organizations with a heavy reliance on Optimizely products
  • Opti ID credentials provide a unified login solution across the entire Optimizely suite.
  • Manage users and groups for Optimizely product access
  • DXP security features
  • For systems that integrate heavily with Optimizely products,
• Entra ID – Offered by Microsoft, Entra ID is an identity and access management service that leverages existing Microsoft credentials (Office 365 login) for user authentication, simplifying login and enhancing security posture. Select Entra ID for the following reasons:
  • Best for organizations heavily invested in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Microsoft credentials for login. If your organization uses a wide range of Microsoft products, Entra ID offers a seamless login experience by leveraging existing credentials.
  • Manage users and groups with Azure AD
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) security features
