Boost search results with attributes

This topic shows how to boost search results for Personalized Search & Navigation (a Product Recommendations feature) with attributes. See also Personalized Search & Navigation.

Note

Product Recommendations analyzes only attributes of products, not product variants; it ignores attributes with Boolean values and attributes having "type" in their names and either does not show if the score is not good enough for the algorithm (<0.5).

Add the boost elements to the product attributes.

After that, search results with personalized boosting values display.

If you want to boost search results with product variant's attributes, contact Support to set it up with DBFile with the attributes you want to boost and exclude.

• Include – Enhance search results with product variants' attributes.
• Exclude – Do not boost specified product attributes.
