Get started with ODP

Optimizely Data Platform (ODP) provides harmonization of customer data which leads to real-time understanding of your customer's behaviors. ODP lets you scale highly personalized, multichannel campaigns leveraging AI-powered predictive analysis sharing insights across other Optimizely products.

Note

If you are familiar with ODP's various schemas and data structures, you can start importing data right away. If not, see Understand ODP to learn the fundamentals of ODP. See also the ODP user guide.

1. Implement the ODP JavaScript tag on pages where you would like to track visitors on your site and store that data for reporting and segmentation within ODP.
2. Import your historical customer data in a way that fits your development flow:
   • Import data using CSV file
   • Import data using Amazon S3
   • Import data from Optimizely Commerce Cloud
   • Import data using the ODP REST API
3. Send ongoing data to ODP. You can record subsequent data using any combination of the following options:
   • ODP Web SDK
   • ODP REST API
   • ODP React Native SDK (not available for all users)
4. Set up the ODP application UI for your company. For more information, see user documentation for ODP.
