Beta

Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP) for Optimizely is in beta and currently only works with Optimizely Graph in Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) (SaaS) and CMS (PaaS).

The Optimizely Connect Platform (OCP) developer platform lets you build custom apps in OCP so you can sync third-party data to other Optimizely products for a personalized solution that fits your business needs. There are three main parts to the OCP developer platform:

  • Serverless compute platform – Optimizely manages the server space and infrastructure on which you can build apps.
  • Development environment – The command-line interface (CLI) lets you manage your apps (including scaffolding, key-value storage, and more). It also has software development kits (SDKs) you can use to interact with OCP APIs.
  • App marketplace – When your app is complete, you can submit it for review to have it publicly listed and available to all Optimizely customers or keep it private for selective OCP accounts of your choice.

Creating a custom app using the OCP developer platform is one of the options to get third-party data into OCP so that you can then sync it to other Optimizely products. See Import data for the other data import options.
