Introduction to widgets
Learn about Content Recommendation widgets, how they work with Deliveries and Sections, and how they personalize content for website visitors.
Content Recommendation widgets are dynamic blocks of personalized content displayed on a website, designed to increase user engagement and relevance. These blocks are rendered by the ip.js SDK, which communicates with the Content Recommendation APIs to fetch and display recommendations in real time.
Each widget is linked to a specific Delivery, which defines the content sourcing and ranking logic. Sections are content pools assigned to these deliveries to control what content is shown and where. This configuration enables flexible targeting and management of recommendations across various sections of a website.

- Place widgets anywhere on a website, such as homepages, article pages, or sidebars.
- Support multiple layouts and templates, enabling a tailored presentation.
