Create deliveries

Deliveries are server-side configurations that define the content and logic for a recommendation widget. A delivery connects your content Sections to the widget on your site. Each delivery has a unique API Key that you can use in your widget's HTML.

Create a widget delivery

1. Go to Engage > Deliveries.
2. Click Create Delivery.
3. Click Widget in the Choose Application > Web section.
4. Complete the following:
   1. Title – Enter a descriptive title for your widget delivery.
   2. Personalised Content Sections – Assign the content Sections you will use to show personalized content to users.
   3. Unpersonalised Content Sections – Assign fallback Sections for general content when personalization is not possible, for example, for a new visitor.
   4. Approved state – Select the approval status for the content, for example, only show approved content.
   5. Published – Filter content by age, for example, within the last 90 days. Only content published in the last 90 days is displayed.
   6. Click Tracking – Send clicks through the redirect service for tracking. This is useful when you cannot embed the Content Recommendations tracking script on the destination page.
   7. Click Save to create the widget delivery.

After saving, the system will generate a unique Delivery Key or an API key. You need this key to install the widget on your website.
