URL parameters called "force parameters" allow you to force a specific variation to render in the browser. Append the query parameter to any URL on your site to skip all targeting conditions (such as audiences) and force Optimizely to execute the variation code when the page loads. Use force parameters to show a variation to yourself for QA.

Force parameters can only be used on published and running experiments with Performance Edge.
To ensure account privacy, force parameters are disabled by default. Here's how to [change that setting]https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410284343181#Disable_the_force_variation_parameter).
If you are using force parameters in a production environment, we recommend combining this method with a test query parameter to avoid showing the experiment to your visitors before QA is complete.
