You can set future dates and times to publish pages and/or automatically rollback changes in Optimizely <<product-name>>.

  1. Access the CMS by clicking **Site Preview** in the Primary Navigation header.

  5. Click **Edit** and create new pages or make your content changes.

  6. Click **Publish** to publish the current page. The Publishing window appears. You can also click the down arrow next to **Publish** and select **Publish Multiple Pages** to publish multiple pages. See Publish Multiple Pages for more details.

  7. Click **Compare** to compare the selected page and context with its currently published version. This opens a screen where you can compare versions side by side, as well as preview the versions on tablet and smartphone devices.

  8. Select the **Set a publish date or range** check box if you want to publish or rollback content at a specific date and time in the future. The **Publish on** and **Rollback on** fields appear with date and time selectors.

  9. Select a date and time in the **Publish on** field if you want to publish content in the future.

  10. Select a date and time in the **Rollback on** field if you want to automatically roll back these changes to display the previously published version of the page at a specific point.

  11. Click **Cancel** to close the window or **Publish** to publish your changes on the selected date and time if there are publish and/or rollback dates. If this page cannot be published, the message "There are no pages with content changes to publish." appears.

## Edit future publish and/or rollback dates

You can edit selected future publish and/or rollback dates any time before these occur. CMS pages or variants with either future publish dates or rollback dates display with a clock icon and blue font in the tree.

Pages or variants with a future publish date display a message in the header, next to the page title, **Scheduled to Publish on (date/time)**. There is also an **Edit publish date** link that opens the Edit Publish Date window.

Published pages or variants with a rollback date display a message in the header, next to the page title, **Scheduled to Rollback on (date/time)**. There is also and **Edit rollback date** link that opens the Edit Rollback Date window.

  1. Access the CMS by clicking **Site Preview** in the Primary Navigation header.

  2. Select the website where you want to edit future publish or rollback dates. The website opens in a new browser tab.

  3. Click **Show CMS** in the upper left corner.

  4. Click **Toggle Content Tree** to open the Content Tree.

  5. Click **Edit** and select the page where you want to edit future publish and/or rollback dates.

  6. Click **Publish**. The Edit Publish Date or Edit Rollback Date window appears.

  7. Edit the date and time in the **Publish on** or **Rollback on (optional)** fields. Click Clear Publish Date in the Edit Publish Date window to clear the publish on and rollback dates and save the record, which will revert to unpublished status.

  8. Click **Cancel** to close the window or **Save** to save your date changes. If the rollback date/time is sooner than the publish date/time when you click **Save**, the validation message "Rollback date must be after publish date." appears.
