## Channel element tags

The <channel> section of an RSS feed provides data about the RSS feed including the title of the feed, the publication date of the feed, and other general information. Three channel elements must be included.

<title>The name of the RSS feed.
<link>The URL of your website’s homepage.
<description>A phrase or sentence describing the RSS feed.

Mandatory channel elements

This topic describes mandatory channel elements in the RSS product feed, used for importing catalog content from Optimizely Customized Commerce to the Optimizely personalization engine.
